Jaipur ranks 7th amongst the best tourist destinations in Asia

The renowned Conde Nast Traveler magazine recently conducted a survey poll for the 2008 Readers' Choice Awards. More than 32,000 readers voted to elect the world's best cities, hotels, airlines, and more. The results are out and Jaipur is the only city in India making it to top ten - being voted as the seventh best city in Asia to visit.

Tourists to Jaipur who took part in the survey quoted that they were impressed by the handicrafts, food, architecture, and the meticulous town planning of the historic Pink City.

As per the report, the top tourist destinations in Asia are ranked as follows:
