Jaipur has been voted 12th amongst the World's Best Cities 2009 in a survey conducted by the Travel & Leisure magazine. Udaipur is the surprise list topper this year - a newcomer unseen in the list before. The World's Best Awards survey is conducted by the magazine through its readers every year. The top ten cities are:
